In this assignment I had create a movie using still pictures. In this assignment I had to pick one story out of three to show in the movie, and then I had to bring in the pictures in order to make the movie. In order to do this movie I had to use IMovie. I had to use at least one transition and one effect and I had to use the script I wrote in order to make the movie have noise.
My digital story was about my niece. I told about how much I love her and how much of a trouble maker she can be. I used pictures of her eating spaghetti and one of her messing with the papers on the floor in my room. I used those pictures because I mention her eating by herself and of how she makes messes; I also used pictures of her with my dad, her mom, her dad and myself. I used these pictures because I spoke about how much we all love her.
I chose this story because my life changed from the moment of her birth. It changed in a way that I cannot describe. She is the only baby and the joy of our lives. She can turn any frown upside down. This story is important to me because I can tell everyone how much she means to me. If my niece were to die, god forbid, I would be devastated. Having a baby in my family I believe has brought us a little more together.
I think I did pretty well on my project. I kept the story and pictures pretty consistent. I found iMovie easy to use and fun, it’s interesting the things you learn when using something new. In class this year I have learned some new valuable things that I can use in the future. I can use Photoshop to help me with college projects. I can use iMovie to help with certain types of presentations. This class was very helpful and it also helped me gain more valuable computer skills.

Lyrical Triptych

In this assignment I had to take a song and use pictures to depict what I felt certain lyrics represented. I picked the song 'GoodBye' by Amanda Perez. I chose this song because it's heart felt. I used the lasso tool and the magnetic tool. I also used the eraser to make the pictures blend together. I chose these certain pictures because of how the lyrics made me feel. When she say's "I just don't wanna let you go," I picture someone holding somebody and not letting go. This is why i chose the picture of the girl holding the boy. I wouldnt really change much because I like the way I showed off the lyrics with the pictures.

The assignment was to take pictures from the past or present and put your own picture into it. You had to have your own picture to be the same color as the ones you were using and the theme you picked had to be consistent. You had to have one topic throughout the whole thing.
I chose pictures from the civil war. I chose these pictures because they were interesting and I could really get creative. I used the lasso tool and magnetic tool to crop my image. I used copy and paste to put them into the pictures that I had used.
I learned how to make my picture into black and white. I did like everything that I had learned. I did not find this project to be that difficult. I do think I was successful in my creation and I had fun in doing my project as well. There isn’t really anything I would change about my project.

Notebook

This Project was fun and it was also the very first one that I had done in this class. It was done using photoshop. I had to find things that represent who I am. I used pictures with quotes that I like and I also attached pictures of my niece. The front cover of this notebook may not have one theme but it does show who I am as a person. It shows that I love my niece and that I love poetry and quotes.

The back cover to the notebook has something I wrote off the top of my head because of how I was feeling at the moment. I may not feel like that anymore but the feelings can still be felt. This depicts how emotional I can be at times and how things effect me. I like how my notebook came out. There is nothing I would change about it.
